This charming 1920’s bungalow/cottage has been in our family for over a century and we love spending time here when we are in town. With high ceilings, original woodwork, hardwood floors, and amazing front porch it is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway.
It is minutes from the Mississippi waterfront, bike path, Lumberkings Stadium, local grocery, and several bars and restaurants.

Summary: The decor and attention to detail made me feel at home. I found a smile on my face being in this cottage. I thought I booked it for 2 nights so unfortunately I did not get to enjoy my stay as planned.

Summary: We have done a lot of VRBO staying in the area and this is a top three experience. Clean, well-appointed, great amenities, and extremely charming older renovated home. We were visiting family during the days and enjoyed early mornings and evenings here. Happily surprised with the smart TVs with YouTubeTV and other apps available. Kitchen is extremely functional. Overall a high quality, extremely high value experience. We look forward to staying again in the future if available.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over Christmas. The Christmas decor made for the perfect setting for our family and friends. It's a very old home but it’s very well maintained. Absolutely beautiful!

Summary: The Kruse House did not disappoint-the vrbo description was clear and accurate. Perfect for 2 couples or small family. It was a great place to stay while we visited family in the Clinton area for our brother’s 80th birthday. We would definitely recommend the Kruse House and hope to return in the future
