Prime season (Late May-Mid September) requires a minimum stay of one week (7 nights). Weeks are Sunday to Sunday. The 2025 prime season weekly rate is: $3290, for up to 8 people. (The 2026 prime season weekly rate is $3395 for up to 8 people.)
Rates do not include 6% MI occupancy tax or a refundable security deposit (see VRBO at check out). Additional fee for dogs (maximum of 2) is $28 per dog, per day or $175 per dog, per week; inquire with owner on pet details and rules.
SPECIAL NOTE: A general liability waiver is required to be signed, prior to arrival. See waiver under "my attachments". Owner will also email one to you.

Nestled between poplar covered sand dunes, this contemporary 3 bedroom (sleeps up to 8) ranch style home offers a partial view of Lake Michigan and a striking panoramic view of North Grand Mere Lake. The home includes a short walk to a private sandy beach access on Lake Michigan and a (seasonal) wading stream. Among many amenities, WIFI is available, Roku TVs (remember to bring your log in accts to enjoy your favorite apps), gas fireplace, a private in ground swimming pool (closes Mid-September for the winter/opens in early May), 4-5-person hot tub (open year round), outdoor fire pit and large wrap-around deck. Come to enjoy serene views, beautiful snow falls, wildlife, endless sunsets, relaxing walks and a private sandy beach. If you like action, you're only 10 to 20 minutes away from the popular destination towns of St. Joseph and New Buffalo. We're located at exit 22, off of I-94. Stay at the Lake House for a week in the prime season or a minimum two-night getaway during the off-season and enjoy it all! Summary: This is a property that is perfect for those that want to relax but also have trouble sitting still. There are so many things to do a short drive away but you don’t need to leave to have a great time. The pool and hot tub are great, the ping pong table is there for use and there are large windows so you can enjoy the outdoors without going there if that is your preference. We just had two people but I can see where having more guests with different needs would really thrive at this property. 10/10 - thank you for having us!

Summary: We had a great time and had really responsive communication from the owner. The property was clean and smelled great! The walk to the beach was manageable and the owner came by when we checked in to show us how to get there which was helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Summary: We stayed for our anniversary. We loved the little house! The hot tub and fire pit were wonderful! The hosts were very accommodating and helpful. The access to Lake Michigan was fantastic! The neighbors were also very friendly. We will for sure come back again!

Summary: This house was amazing. Stayed there for our anniversary! Has everything you need to stay. Nice view of the duck lake behind house and then a fantastic view of Lake Michigan a short walk down to the beach. Love the hot tub and the pool but was to cold to go in pool. Shelly and Marc are excellent hosts. I would go back!

Summary: Stayed at the Lake House for a quick weekend with my spouse, teen son, tween son, and our beloved dog. When I tell you the house was spotless, I mean SPOTLESS! It was immaculately clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. I loved the cozy fireplace and the relaxing hot tub! The neighborhood was quiet and tranquil - a great place to get peace, quiet, and fresh air.The beach near the house is like a dream. It was absolutely breathtaking and felt like our own little private cove! Lake Michigan at its absolute finest!The beach is a 3-5 minute walk from the house. Just a heads up if you're traveling with elders or folks with mobility restrictions: You access the beach through a rather steep sand dune. It's not a strenuous trek, but it might be difficult for some folks because the dune doesn't have stairs, secure footholds, hand rails, grab bars, or anything like that. However, it is truly one of the most beautiful Great Lakes beaches I've ever visited!
