Summary: Room was good for just one night stay, clean and comfortable. Check in little unusual had to call phone number for someone to come to desk. Booked two rooms and had to register and pay separately for each room wouldn’t allow pay for both at one time.

Summary: We had read previous reviews and expected a nicer place. Oi. No one was there to greet us at all. When they showed up they told us that check out was at 10 am. The board on the wall said 11. I asked if he was sure. He read the board and says, "ojay, fine. It's 11" I've never seen a smaller room. The bathroom door didn't open all the way, there wasn't room. 2 small full size beds took up all the room. Tiny bathroom with something running down the side of the vanity. I don't want to know what that was. We won't be returning

Summary: I have booked at The Lancaster Motel twice, only stayed once. My stay in October 2024 was good. Clean and comfortable room, friendly and helpful front desk service. No real issues at all. My last booking (I did NOT stay) was in January 2025. I booked the room via hotels.com based on my previous visit and chose pay on-site. When I arrived to check in, I was informed that there was a $100 security deposit due before I could check in. And that only Cash would be accepted for the deposit. When I questioned it, as I was not charged that in October, I was told it was a new policy. Fine. But there was no mention anywhere on their listing of this requirement. The desk person would not provide contact info for the management so I could ask them about it. I decided not to stay and was told when leaving that my card would not be charged since I declined the room. But I was charged. I emailed hotels.com who contacted the motel twice and was told both times that despite the circumstances the motel “declined to provide a refund.” I will NEVER stay at this motel again. And would recommend anyone considering it call before booking to get the full story. Or select the “reservation protection” option with hotels.com or a refundable booking option. I will say that when I called and spoke to a representative at hotels.com they recognized the situation for what it was and provided a refund for the booking themselves. Which I appreciated very much.

Summary: It is a nice little place to stay with friendly staff. The room was smaller than it looked in the pictures, but was enough for a 1 night stay. Biggest issue was, it was about 33°F outside and when I walked into the room it was so cold there was a layer of ice in the toilet that did not allow the used paper to go down. It took until I showered for it to melt completely. I turned the heat on high and it took about 3 hrs to feel comfortable in the room without a hat and sweatshirt on. Heat was not on at all when I arrived. There were a few items either not mentioned on website or that were different from website. First, there is a $100 cash security deposit that you will get back after the room is checked at checkout, but most people do not carry cash. That is not mentioned any where. Second, checkout is 10am, not 11am as mentioned on website. If it was warmer out I'm sure the room would have been better though.

Summary: The men in reception was amazing, I will be back because I did liked his service. The room are pretty and the area very quiet. The only thing there was some cockroach on the bathroom smaller one. I know that can be fix. Thank you

Summary: While they listed "Desk" in their ad, there was no desk. It was the cleanest room I have stayed in (for a motel) ever! Eating and working on the bed (as a desk) was a little difficult but overcome-able.
