3 Bedroom House in Alexandria Bay

The Harbor House is a three bedroom, two bath floating cottage! If you have your own boat or rent one, you can tie it up right in front of your living room! There is a wrap around deck all on the lower level. The master bedroom upstairs has a balcony with a view of Boldt Castle. The Harbor House is a great place to fish , relax, and enjoy all that the river has to offer.
Upstairs: The master bedroom has a queen size bed. The balcony has a spectacular view of the Boldt Castle and Sunken Rock Lighthouse. The second bedroom upstairs has two queen beds. The upstairs bathroom has a stand-up shower.
Downstairs: There is a large entryway. This leads to the downstairs bedroom, bathroom, and living room/kitchen. The downstairs bedroom has a double bed. The bathroom has a full tub and shower. The living area is combined with the kitchen. The kitchen features a full size stove/oven, full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, and dishwasher. It has all new cooking utensils, pots, pans, glasses, and dishes. It is fully equipped. There is a dining table with seating for six The lisving room offers a beautiful view of the river. There are french doors that open up to the deck. The deck is equipped with a dinning table, chairs, and gas grill.
Shampoo, conditioner, and soap are provided. The beds are made with fresh linens. Bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths are also provided.
Everything is prepped and ready to make your vacation relaxing and comfortable. Just bring yourself!
- Welcome to The Ledges Resort & Marina! We are located directly on the St. Lawrence River across from Boldt Castle. We have views of the castle, Sunken Rock Lighthouse, and the main shipping channel. There are decks, docks, hammocks, and gazebos all across our six-acre property. You will find many beautiful spots to relax, read a book, take a walk, or go fishing. We have a large in-ground pool and deck area. Every cottage has its own fire-pit where you can warm up under the stars. We even provide the firewood! There are plenty of open lawn areas to play catch, lawn games, or just take a walk.
The Ledges offers a peaceful getaway with six acres of landscaped grounds along the water. While the grounds provide privacy and lots of space, we are not in a remote location. It’s a quick and easy walk downtown Alexandria Bay. We are close to all of the attractions. At the Ledges you have the best of both worlds, relaxation and convenience!

Summary: My sisters and I had a great time celebrating our Mom’s 70th birthday at the Leges. The Harbor House was amazing — quaint, comfortable, and well-equipped. Property was gorgeous and decorated for Fall. Highly recommend.

Summary: My wife and I couldn't have been more pleased with the property grounds or the the lodgings! And having our dog along with us just made the vacation More Family Friendly. ( Our leashed dog loved trying to chase the squirrels!!!...it gave us a workout!) The housing was immaculate and we really appreciated how cool the air conditioner and the ceiling fan made those hot humid nights so bearable. Thank you Nick and Amy for also quickly responding to ANY request we made. Will be returning for sure!!

Summary: Great family vacation in super location with great views of the thousand island region. The property is very well kept, from a very clean house, to the large grounds that was great for walking the dog; nightly campfires; or heading into town (10 minute walk to Alex Bay). Our jet skis were just outside our front door, and our family really enjoyed the trip to one of the more beautiful areas of NYS. The owners were very attentive to answering questions and addressing any needs. It seemed as though someone from their staff was on the grounds available anytime. Summary: We were there on one of the hottest weeks of the year: July 4th. The air in the living room just couldn't keep up. I loved being able to cook and hang with all of the kids and grand kids, jump in the boat and go to the different islands right from our own dock. The staff and owners are super nice, even helped us unload our truck into the cottage. We stay all over the country and have never had that kind of help. Amy is especially nice. One little issue was the sewer smell from the nearby marina but that was only the last night. Worth the stay!!!!

Summary: We had a great stay in this cottage, on the water, overlooking the St Lawrence Seaway! Well appointed and great host who even carried our bags to the cottage. Fun, unique experience. That home actually floats on the water in at the mouth of a protected harbor. Enjoyed the very slight rocking motion. I highly recommend!

Summary: The cottage was perfect for what we were looking for. Right on the water - very quiet! I was nervous about being so close to the marina, but that was absolutely not an issue! We were able to pull our boat rental right up to the dock that was at the back door of the cottage. Could not get any more convenient! The cottage was basic, but clean and plenty of space for our family of 6!
