Positive: The staff were so so friendly and accommodating, they kept the kitchen open for us after we had a very long journey. The surrounding area was so quiet and relaxing.
Negative: The ensuite facilities were the only thing that stopped me giving an excellent review. The shower didn't drain properly so could only have a very quick shower.

Positive: Peaceful location and very handy distance to HMS Raleigh. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely - gorgeous views also.
Negative: Late check in wasn’t an option which made it tricky for some of us who were unable to arrive later in the evening. A key box facility would have been an easy way to fix this problem.
Summary: Comfortable and convenient stay.
