Traditional kiwi bach, within easy walking distance to the lake. Large fully fenced section with space to park the car and boat. Cosy 2 bedroom bach with sleepout and large covered deck.
In the house : main bedroom with 1 x queen bed, second bedroom with 1 x double bed and 1 x bunk bed. In the sleepout : 1 x queen bed, 2 x bunk beds.
Mangakino township offers a well stocked 4 Square supermarket, cafe, laundromat, takeaways, chemist and pub.
The lake is great for swimming, kayaking, fishing, and the kids will love the fun island with slide and bomb tower. The Waikato river trails are close by and offer plenty of opportunities to explore on two wheels or on foot.
Please note there is no wifi at the bach, the TV runs through the DVD player with many DVD's available to watch. There are plenty of board games, puzzles, and books for the kids to enjoy.
You will need to bring all towels and linen - pillows/pillow cases/sheets/duvets/sleeping bags etc.

- Tents ok on the lawn.

Summary: Stayed for 2 nights with 4 family members. Bach was exactly as described. Generous parking and a nice sized yard. An awesome front deck with a peekaboo view of the water. And a nice short walk/drive down to the water and playground. Really appreciated the lil extras items you may need but forget when on holiday like, paper towels, washing powder and fly spray. The stay was super quiet and relaxing. Would definitely recommend to others :-)

Summary: To use as a base for day trips or chill out. The lake is only a few minutes' walk. We enjoyed our stay at the Little Blue Bach.

Summary: Fantastic hosts and a spotlessly clean, but practical and well loved family bach. Perfect for our group to relax and crash in after busy days. Fire was a huge bonus with some late October frosts.

Summary: Second visit and as good as the first. Very easy to communicate with Sarah and the wood heater gets the house toasty in no time. With the addition of Wifi and BBQ the Blue House would be near perfect.
