Positive: The location was brilliant. Facilities were good. A brilliant decked area to sit & enjoy the sun.
Negative: Furniture & decor was very on trend, but settee & low chairs weren't so comfortable.

Positive: Well furnished cosy holiday lodge with added extra touches to make the kids feel welcome such as games and books. Beautiful views. Lovely and quiet. Great terrace for the kids and the dog to play on safely.
Negative: The microwave was very low heat so it took a bit longer to get things hot. Also, as a wheelchair user, whilst the property itself was great for access, the gravel path was a bit tricky to wheel on. That is no fault of the owners, it's just something I would have to consider if we returned.

Positive: Cozy and clean, main bed was very comfy. Thank you for the wine and Welsh cakes, lovely gesture.
Negative: We didn’t realise the access was up a steep drive where the bushes had over grown and lots of steps there were other people in the cottages and parking was very cramped. We weren’t lucky with the weather so it was slippery on the deck. The shower was tiny and again no shower mat so very slippery. The mattress in bunk bed wasn’t great. The lighting wasn’t great in bedrooms either. It was rustic and we had fun but luckily only a few nights stay.
Summary: Good for a short break but wouldn’t want to stay longer than a few nights.

Positive: Great lodge, great location to get to lots of lovely beaches. Nicely decorated, and still warm using the heaters even in October. A lovely welcome gift and great information pack to help guide us to all the local places to explore. Fab to be able to head to the end of the lane for fresh milk and milkshakes from the local farm. Would return.
Negative: The shower is somewhat tricky to maintain the correct temp, but we mastered it by the second day and wasn't an issue after that. Some small tongs for the kitchen would be great help when cooking at the lodge. Both minor things, that didn't impact on the enjoyment of our stay.

Positive: lovely lodge in quiet surroundings but not far from anything as long as you have a car. loved the veranda, the lodge itself had a nice feel. light airy living room with space to move around. The bedrooms were cosy and the bathroom new and spotless. the decor of the property was individual and gave a homely feel rather than your usual holiday rental. the double bed is the comfiest I have ever slept in on holiday but the bottom bunk bed mattress is on the thin side. loved having Netflix to watch in the evenings and the Wi-Fi which was really good, didn’t have any problems with it. dog friendly so the veranda is fenced which is great. there is a garden but it’s shared which isn’t a problem as it’s a pretty decent size. the garden isn’t fenced so keep an eye on your dog. the lodge was clean and didn’t smell doggie which sometimes can happen in dog friendly places. all in all I haven’t got much to fault!
Negative: there are only a few things that stop this property being 5 star across the board. the seating… the yellow chairs while looking beautiful are not comfortable for long periods as in watching a film. the sofa is very comfortable but doesn’t face the tv so only good for 1 person. as in another review, there was only 1 saucepan which is inadequate really if you do want to cook. not sure if it says on the description as I haven’t checked but this property would not be any good for anyone with mobility issues as it has a steep path/ steps up to the lodge.
Summary: had a lovely time, really enjoyed being in a log cabin!
