This sound front cottage is a wonderful place to come and relax for a weekend get away or for a extended stay to recharge your batteries in a calming and tranquil setting. Gorgeous views from your living room/dining room table are just the beginning of your relaxing stay. The perfectly situated queen size alcove just off the kitchen and living room can be saved for later for a small child's nap, or a place to curl up and take a snooze in the middle of the afternoon.
The freestanding gas fireplace will keep you cozy warm throughout your stay, any time of year if needed, while reading a book with a glass of wine or munching on appetizers prepared in the fully functioning kitchen
If movies are your thing, a large 55 inch flat screen smart TV could be a perfect conclusion to a day of adventure cycling around the island on bikes that are provided, (4 with helmets).
Also included are two, single person kayaks with paddles and crab pots.
It is hard to beat waking up in the morning watching the sailboats from your King size bed in the water view bedroom . The second Bedroom a new addition also boasts a King size bed with roomy vaulted ceilings and its own electric fireplace. The full bathroom on the lower floor includes a large 34 X 42 inch shower and a heated tile floor. A new sitting room in the lower floor was also added to give additional space to relax. and added privacy.
On a good day, you may be fortunate enough to see our adopted Eagle perched in the trees, or the deer that come through the property foraging for food.

Summary: We had a wonderful time at our place we rented for 3 nights. Lummi is so serene and quiet, very special. The home we stayed in had a well-stocked kitchen that satisfied al our needs! If it were warmer, we would have enjoyed using the water sport equipment that the place supplied. Overall, it was a fantastic trip.

Summary: I wanted a place to bike, kayak, and enjoy God’s beautiful creation. Lummi island is all that! This home was a beautiful setting with porches overlooking the water. I sat for hours on the various outdoor chairs and porches watching for orcas. I did not see orcas, but it was so peaceful and perfect. Many hummingbirds buzzed right up to my face! Lots of herons, gulls, even seals spotted right off shore. Idyllic! A couple of things to know - the driveway is steep and even with our 4 wheel drive, we spun wheels at times. The host told me we could put in her kayaks off the property at low tide but better to go to nearby sunset beach to do so. It was frankly outright unsafe to put in kayaks off the property. So be prepared if you want to kayak with her kayaks, you will need to drive them to nearby sunset beach. Everything else was perfect and the host was very responsive.

Summary: The house was perfect for 4 of us. Very quiet and comfortable. Clean and extremely well-equipped. Loved the activities and just laying back to watch the Olympics on TV. We would definitely come back.

Summary: We recently stayed here and loved it! It’s a beautiful cottage right near the water. We watched bald eagles from the lawn and occasionally saw a harbor seal too. The house was lovely and my 7-year old got a kick out of sleeping in the little nook off the kitchen. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Absolutely loved this quiet and comfy home on the water. This was our first stay on Lummi Island and we had a very relaxing time. The home was so comfortable and inviting and what an amazing view! The kitchen was by far the best stocked in a vacation rental that we have ever experienced, bravo!!!!! The host thought of everything. Thank you! The ferry was so much easier and less expensive than the SanJuan Island ferries and we loved that this place was so affordable. Truly a gem !!!!!
