Positive: Everything was perfect 🤩 The view is spectacular

Negative: If you have any issues with mobility, just be careful because the stairs to the bed are very small.

Positive: The place was clean and cosy. The view from the balcony was amazing. Check in and check out was easy. Location was good as it was a short walk from the station, the main town and a lovely beach. There was a washing machine and a fridge and a couple of ingredients such as salt, oil, pepper etc so allowed us to cook dinner on one of our nights.

Negative: The flat is up on a large hill with lots of steps which you need to go up and down every time you want to get into the main town area however the view from the flat made up for this in my opinion. To get to the bed you do need to climb a ladder and as such it got pretty hot at night (we were there in August and air conditioning needed to be switched off after 11pm). There was a fan provided for during the night but it was still pretty hot.

Positive: Beautiful views, lovely and clean, great location, lots of amenities in the room, even an iron! Host was very informative before our arrival and it was a very smooth process. Collecting the keys was very straightforward and on route from the train station to the apartment! Very close to restaurants and the train station. We loved the bedding, it was so comfy! We would absolutely return to the loft, we loved our stay! Thank you

Positive: Amazing views to sit an enjoy the beauty of the town. Well stocked kitchen. Location was very good. Quiet except for traffic during the day.

Negative: The ladder to the bedroom was not expected an it was difficult to climb up an down with a person with disbilities. I missed the fact that the bed was in the loft. When I read the bio it said 1 bedroom so I figured it was a traditional room.

Positive: The view, the nice decoration of the flat, a working TV with channels in French, English n German. Pots to cook (3 sizes but no frying pan, not a problem the pots can be used to fry), salt, pepper, oil n vinegar provided. It was clean. The flat is very near the center of Bellano. Don't rely on google map to find the flat, if you are on foot. It doesn't show the stairs in the town. From the lake, turn at the Deutsche Bank, go straight on n up the stairs, left if you must chose between two paths. You will come to the right street. Via bolboni, via plinio Conrad supermarket is the best choice for grocery shopping, near the station by the lake. Though to support the local economy, there's a small grocery shop - alimentary vitali -in the old town and a green grocer - le stations ortofrutta- with fresh bread near the station. I went to all of them. Bellano is a better choice to stay than Bellagio or Varenna which are full with 100s of tourists. There are ferries n trains to get to those villages.

Negative: Everything was OK. Beware of the low ceiling in the bedroom when getting up, you are very likely to bang your head at least once on one of those beams... If you are small you could stand up... But that's unlikely. The road is just outside the balcony n more more frequented n noisier than expected. I am not used to roads without pavements n I was scared to walk on the road especially as there are 180 degrees curves, where the cars have no visibility. However there is a path across the apartment, which takes longer to go down to the lake, but safer if you have pets or children.

Negative: I didn’t like the fact that I had to go back and forth to get the keys of the house and the attitude of the owner on the messages wasn’t that nice…. then I didn’t like the fact that it was full of cobwebs and spiders In the upper room there were the paintings full of dust… I’m not ok with what I’ve paid and the offer I had

Negative: The ladder to the loft was secure but not easy, especially for nighttime bathroom visits. We arrived by train and the walk up to the loft with suitcases was a slog. Distance was fine but stairs and hilly street with no sidewalk was difficult
