Positive: The owners made us welcome from the moment we arrived. Friendly, nothing is a problem. Breakfast is good value and there is plenty of it. Hotel spotlessly clean, bedroom and bathroom spotlessly clean. Beds are comfortable, bedding was teddy material which was perfect after a very cold day walking around and you need to snuggle down into bed. Room had plenty of draws and wardrobe space. Plenty of tea bags, coffee and milk. Even had a fridge, which was an added bonus. Nice fluffy white towels. Hotel very quiet at night, so we all slept well. A little Gem in a place full of rough.
Negative: This is the tiniest complaint, but the shower wasn't the best and thats just nit picking. The water was lovely and hot and we all managed to get a shower, but shower pressure wasn't the best, or perhaps a new shower head is needed. Honestly we didn't mention it, because it was so minor and everything else was perfect, we didn't want to spoil the experience. I'm sure if I had mentioned it, they'd have sorted it, but we were tired and we just wanted our beds.
Summary: Best small hotel we've stayed in for years and we will be back.

Positive: Angela and vince was amazing! Couldnt fault anything! The rooms where lovely, breakfast was amazing, location is perfect and if you ever needed anything angela and vince would always help. Wont go anywhere else now.

Positive: Angie and Vince were lovely hosts and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfasts were fresh with excellent choices. The room was immaculate and had all the facilities. Would highly recommend and an ideal location for the Winter Gardens.

Positive: It's a lovely hotel couldn't have asked for more Angela and Vince are the best I could of brought them home with me! They are exceptional hosts who would help with anything. The hotel is within walking distance to everything you need and more.

Positive: Location brilliant for winter gardens…as had tickets for show….put train ticket in the bin by accident..and angie and Vince went dumpster diving for the lost ticket…they are a brilliant couple…and we where very well looked the whole stay…will stay again…
