The historic shops of Main Street are just around the corner with famed restaurants like Bills Prime Seafood & Steaks & Don's Seafood Restaurant. Take a short walk down Maddox and you will find Steamers Restaurant & Sports Bar along with ice cream treasures Mr. Whippy's & Island Creamery. Positive: The customer service was very good. the Lady at the front desk was extremely helpful.
Negative: Unfortunately, the room smelled (old) and was dirty (carpet, night table, desk, AC was very dusty and threw dust inside the room). We reported it to the front desk the next morning, and they cleaned up the room and the AC device while we were out. At that time, we had spent a night in the room and two people got sick (coughing and runny nose) - the second night was somehow better.

Positive: Charming old fashioned motel. Great location, great value and most important for us we can bring our dog. Plus bonus points for the complimentary breakfast voucher for the bakery next door. Trust me and get the almond croissant - YUM!
