Summary: We had a great stay at this lovely country house which is set in beautiful countryside. The garden and patio area are great for dining outside. The host wa very helpful with ideas of places to visit and there was a store cupboard of essentials we could use which was really handy. We visited many lovely places in the local area and enjoyed the local speciality pizoli (not sure on spelling) a kind of double pizza yum.

Summary: We spent a nice week at Giovanni's wonderful house that is situated between olive groves and almond trees. It is a very remote location, so perfect for anyone who wants to be undisturbed and in nature. The magnificent garden and olive trees field are a perfect path for long walks in the quiet, and you can discover on precious little fossiles on stones that are left from ancient times. It was wonderful to have the breakfast in the morning on the terrace and to use the open fireplace in the evenings. We spent our week there in February so the open fireplace gives the house a nice warmth. If you are a friend of animals this is your place, the cats are adorable and you have regular visits of horses in the garden, company of dogs, etc. Its location is very convenient, because you can reach the highway taking you to Syracuse and Catania very easily. For any problems Giovanni and his family are very careful and present. The olive oil produced by Giovanni is excellent, and the house is already filled with food in case you arrive late and need to rest before the first shopping time. The beds are comfortable, and plenty of blankets, pillows, towels are provided. A car is absolutely necessary if you want to enjoy all the hiking possibilities in the surroundings and visit especially the South-East of Sicily. We can highly recommend this place if you want to discover South-East Sicily.

Summary: Our week at Giovanni's wonderful house among the olive groves and almond trees far away from the noise of the cities was a great pleasure for all of us. It was fun for the kids with all the animals around … and the hammock on the terrace. And for nature lovers it is the perfect place to be. Its location is very convenient, because you can reach the highway taking you to Syracuse and Catania very easily within 10 minutes' drive. Supermarkets are at about 10 minutes as well. But a car is absolutely necessary if you want to enjoy all the hiking possibilities in the surroundings and visit especially the South-East of Sicily. There is so much to see and there is no public transportation nearby. The house is well equipped and it was a delight to have each meal outside with the most beautiful view on the Hyblaean Mountains. The photos on the website give an idea of what to expect, but reality is much better! Giovanni and his family welcomed us warmly and made our stay very comfortable. We would like to come back. We will recommend this house to our friends and relatives.

Summary: "This accomodation is a real vintage Sicilian house located in an olive farm. The environment is fabulous for all the nature lovers, with the possibility to wander freely accross the huge property. From the "azienda" the sea and the Etna are visible. Since the house is isolated, a car is absolutely necessary. A sand beach is available at 20 minutes drive. Supermarkets and the the highway Catania-Syracusa are at 10 minutes drive. You''ll be welcome and well advise on the best places to visit by your very sympatic guests."
