Positive: The property has 7bedrooms enough to accommodates as all and in a nice location. We like the back garden where we stayed most of the time. The long table in the dining room was perfect for our group with a baby chair available.

Positive: Location great and the garden was nice in the good weather (although plastic grass). Plenty of crockery.
Negative: Heating was poor. Shower temperamental. Generally the place needs refreshing - new mattresses in many bedrooms and chairs in the lounge. Pull cord in bathroom really noisy in the night!
Summary: It worked well for a family get together but needs sprucing up.

Positive: A great house for a big group, plenty of room for us all with good sized bedrooms. Kitchen well equipped.
Negative: Everything was lovely although we did arrive during a snowy time and the house was very cold, it took a few days to heat up. However there was plenty of firewood to keep us going - so thank you for that.

Positive: The Garden space was very good, astroturf lawn was a shame but understood the appeal for it being fake grass. The outside garden was a recent landscape it appears and was executed very very well.
Negative: The Sofa was very poor and very worn out. The mattress in one of the room (top floor rear facing on left) was of a very poor foam quality and as a result decided to sleep on the sofa for comfort. The kitchens are small but there are two of them. The music digital hifi does not work.
Summary: Pleasant stay, could do with a new sofa and better mattress.

Positive: Lovely stay , two parking spaces available in the car park next door with parking up the private road by the side available too . Large house in a perfect location with lovely walks and local pubs and cafes . Perfect short walk to Matlock bath and Matlock . Only down side there is no large kitchen and would have been better with more en-suites (rather than just the one and no toilet on the top floor) . There was also sadly only one toilet roll per loo (so we had to buy more) . But overall a lovely stay, thank you for having us !
