Positive: The staff were great. Sunday lunch was excellent. Room and bed were very comfortable. Would stay again. The open fire in the bar is lovely. We enjoyed our stay very much

Negative: Bathroom was unclean. Rubbish in the bin. Dirty soap dispenser. The staff did offer to do another clean but we were leaving so said to leave it but hope they got it cleaned. The bedroom and bedding however was spotless warm and very comfortable. Evening food was poor but again the staff put it right.

Positive: Parking was good. Staff friendly. Room was clean and warm. Only for one night so quick pit stop.

Negative: Got to the hotel at 4.15 to be told that they weren't sure if the room was ready and would we like a drink and have a comfy seat whilst they checked. We then got charged for the drink and I thought this was complementary. The room only had one towel so had to ask for another. In the morning the bathroom smelt of rotten eggs. I think it may have been the drains.

Positive: It was close to where we needed to be. We had enough room for the 2 of us

Negative: I felt it could have been a bit better cared for. The bedding especially looked as though it had just come out of the tumble dryer. Presentation was not a priority and would have made the place nicer. The bathroom seemed like it had just been used by someone else. The bathmat was wet and the bin hadn't been emptied
