Positive: Right in the middle of Mariposa, so it was super easy to find and within walking distance of a bunch of great restaurants. The staff were really friendly, and we had an amazing meal at one of the places they recommended. The room was really spacious, and everything was clean, especially the bedding, which made the stay feel extra comfortable. Definitely had a great time staying here!

Positive: Beautiful location and right in the heart of the town. Entrance is nice and semi modern.
Negative: Old, very noisy air cons, could not sleep. TV's not connected properly. The women in duty does not want to be there. Flowers not watered so all died, just not managed well. Could be lovely but poor management. Bathroom fan very noisy too. Just tired and old. Pictures missing on the walls.

Positive: Its in a great location in Mariposa! Close to everything, a grocery store, Starbucks, Happy Burger Diner and a few other restaurant choices. Everything within walking distance. They even a small pool for guests to enjoy. We were just hoping they serve a light breakfast before we head out to Yosemite. A few pastries would be alright. Staff were great also, requests for extra towels and toiletries were granted promptly. We were glad we booked Monarch. We all had a great time!

Negative: The receptionist’s attitude was unacceptable. She was annoyed that we did not speak English fluently and refused to repeat information at check-in. She also failed to mention that the hotel had parking right next to our room, forcing us to carry our luggage down two floors unnecessarily. At night, she shouted at us to leave the pool, despite confirming just minutes earlier that we could use it. Her behavior clearly shows she is uncomfortable with guests, which is unacceptable in a customer-facing role.
