Positive: The location was great.Staff are really friendly. Easy check-in and out. The room was very large, and the bathroom was good size . Good size shower cubicle. King size bed was comfortable. Nice to have a sofa in the room. Came with drink facilities in the room. The hotel was lovely, a nice bar area, and good large beer garden, lots of seating. Hotel offers breakfast and evening meals in a nice environment. Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat at the hotel due to another plans. The The location was quiet.

Negative: The only things that were negative were the bed sheets were stained. A little more attention to detail on cleaning.. The shower water temperature does fluctuate, but not much of a problem. We would stay again, but would check the sheets and get them changed if needed.

Negative: Unfortunately we were in room 2 which was a lovely room but the mattress was abit lumpy & springy. A new mattress would make this room a room l would book again. Especially it was dog friendly for our miniature daschund.

Positive: Easy to find. Excellent polite and knowledgeable staff. Functional room excellent with great buffet food. Comfortable bar with good range of beers, including one called the Mortimer. Very nice big rooms and all normal room facilities. Evening meal was good with good efficient service.
