Positive: Very relaxed stay for us all in the Nellie Nook. Cottage is spacious and well equipped and felt very comfortable for our two teenager entourage. Hot tub is outside adjacent to the neighbours so bear that in mind but it’s been cleverly designed to provide some privacy. The neighbours were also very friendly! The location is great if you’re into your walks you should be if you’re staying in Greenfield! From the same road you can take a path that leads on to the main track to Dovestone reservoir from where the trails open up further on to Saddleworth. We walked every day and this was an ideal base to set out from and return home to.

Positive: The house itself was clean, modern and comfortable. It was a warm, cosy home but still large enough for the whole group. The hottub was a great addition to the house too.
Negative: The house is terraced and the outdoor area is not separated from the neighbours on the row at all; however there is the option to pull covers across to make it more private if you wish and the hottub was relatively private anyway.
Summary: Amazing stay in a really lovely house - would return!

Positive: I liked the fact that it was a different environment compared to the outside of the house, everything looked so modern and homey when you walk inside starting with the fireplace and Christmas tree. Even the kitchen had all that you need from kitchenware, cutlery, champagne glasses and cleaning equipment too. And the kitchen interior looked absolutely stunning! The hotub was also an amazing addition as it allowed me and my friends to unwind in our own private space as the hotub is placed inside a small wooden shed with provided lights so if it’s dark we will still be able to see. The bedrooms were also beautiful and comfy and we were provided with the right bedding along with towels too which I thought was very generous of the hosts. We were provided with a gift basket on the day of check-in, which I thought was a really thoughtful gesture by the hosts. It may seem like a small detail, but it’s the thought that counts, and it reflects excellent hospitality. It made the house feel even more special for all of us.
Negative: The stairs are quite narrow so just be careful you don’t trip, but other than that nothing is wrong with the property. Even the stairs are just a minor issue but once you get the hang of it, shouldn’t be a problem at all.
Summary: My stay was amazing! The modern and cozy interior, complete with a fireplace and Christmas tree, made it feel like home.

Positive: The property was immaculate. Sophie and James have clearly put a lot of work into making it look at stunning as it was and nothing was too much for them! The hot tub facility is an extra bonus for any type of occasion. The neighbourhood was very quiet and neighbours were lovely. Honestly probably the best hosts I have stayed with. Myself and all the girls can’t wait to stay again. Thankyou to you both again!
