Summary: We had a very nice stay in Saanich. The flat is very nice and large with a nice view onnthe garden and water. Very comfortable bed. The use of the bikes is a plus.

Summary: Very friendly hosts. Unfortunately, this property is not being well maintained outdoors. That said the house was very comfortable and spacious. The house is extremely close to Highway 17. Be extremely careful leaving the driveway because you have to cross a busy bike path with very limited visibility.

Summary: Great location! Easy to get to the town of Sidney and other attractions . Very clean. Thoughtful host. Everything one needs to make meals and relax . We loved this place!

Summary: Much enjoyed our stay. Property is very relaxing - but still close to the shops in Sidney. Enjoyed watching the tide go in and out in the lagoon at the bottom of the garden. The hosts' father lived upstairs and was friendly during our stay. Rode bikes to the ferry terminal to explore the gulf islands - nice to be so close to the terminal. Hoping to return next summer.

Summary: Stayed with husband and my parents, had a nice time. The place has everything we needed. There were lots of towels and it was clean. We enjoyed seeing an otter in the water out front and saw what we thought was a seal hunting hen the tide was in during the evening. There were games outside and a nice gazebo with cushioned seating too. The beds were ok to me, but that's very subjective and individual. The only minor complaint was that it smelled very strongly of curry throughout the main living quarters, but I know that's not something the owner can fix easily and I'm sure the previous guests had cooked a lot of pungent dishes inside. We became nose blind to it after a few hours but every time you enter after coming back you smell it really strong for a while. Again, not the owners fault.
