Positive: Great, very quiet location. Fantastic value for money. Newly renovated room with a large, comfy bed. Balcony with a lovely green outlook, in- and outdoor chairs. Very clean, neat linen. There is a shortcut via a set of stairs that leads to the main road above, from where you can join the locals to walk on the rail road tracks into town (15Min walk in total). The top of the stairs is also a great spot to watch the sunset over the valleys. Good free brekkie, served in the common room. A lovely couple runs this 8 room place - thank you for a very relaxing stay

Negative: The bed mattress was simply a piece of foam. I was really disappointed by this becayse all the reviews give a good rating for mattress / comfy beds but not all rooms have the same mattress. Be warned if you want a good sleep. Also no fan.

Positive: My 2nd visit to this place. Really clean, well maintained and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Owner is taking personal care of the place and the rates are very reasonable.

Negative: Our room did not have a balcony, but it wasn't a big issue

Summary: Another stay in this lovely nest!

Positive: Lovely place, clean, tidy, comfy. Great shared spaces to sit and relax. Modern place but lovely family history of running a guest house. The first in Haputale and still run by the same family.

Positive: The room is comfy and spacious. The location is near the town and traveling areas such as Adisham bungalow, Lipton seats, Bambarakanda falls etc.
