Positive: Arriving we where warmly greeted by our host Karen. Inside it felt warm, welcoming and was very clean. Our host had left a supprise basket of goodies including a bottle of milk for a cuppa. Our stay was lovely, quiet,refreshing and a complete recharge for the system. Constructive criticism would be for our host to adderss the need for; towel rails, and a hand rail in the shower area. Would we go again ? The answer is definitely !! on our nnext visit to the area.
Negative: Nothing to complain about
Summary: Good location for touring the area, north south east or west. Major supermarkets near.

Positive: Set in beautiful surroundings, fantastic shower ready for disabled guests. Hosts warm and generous, left milk bread croissants and cleaning goods along with shower items although I bought my own. Apple tv with hosts enabling Disney plus for me. Plates were changed as soon as I identified not suitable for microwave.. this is a perfect hideaway for solo couple or disabled person with carer. Local pubs close and link to main roads within 2 to 3 mins away. Saw squirrels, pheasant, and numerous small birds from the front door. Great office in bedroom if working away from home WiFi fast and easy to connect. Off street parking for car.
Negative: The front door needs a curtain or blinds as open to loss of heat and lack of privacy. Limited cooking facilities no oven no hob but was advertised as such.! Whilst I found bed hard to my normal likes, I do wonder how without help a wheelchair user without help would get into bed. The heating needs addressing as control in Lodge was locked, and initially, I was cold late afternoon into evening . This was somewhat addressed by Martin the host. Some building work is being addressed on the main property, which might mean noise but I was never bothered.
