Positive: Everything was amazing , the villa, the rooms the cleaness. The staff July was the best part of all . Her kindness, her happiness and her cooking. Was the best week eating indonesian food. She was very helpfull with the groceries and any request we had . July coordinated the massages and the dalphin tour . What a wonderfull employee !!!!
Negative: Been able to stay more time there.

Positive: The Villa was exceptionally clean. We brought all our food with us and were made feel like we were home. Thank you to the staff who kept a low profile but were always available if needed.

Positive: We love the seafront location, with the rice paddies behind the property. Our fave was the pool. Such an absolute gem of a villa. So spacious. I didn't expect en suites for every room! We were picked up by the boat for our dolphin tour (20nzd pp). It's cool to have the helper every day. Made it feel like a real holiday without doing the housework! They were able to organize transport from ubud and the airport to the villa for us, and this helped a lot.
Negative: It's a bit far from the city centre. You'll need your own transport, but we were able to easily hire a car and scooter.

Positive: We booked an out of the way place on purpose. In amongst the rice fields, there were 4 other villas near by but all private enough. It was basically cheap but with a pool and beach front it was perfect for us. It had four big bedrooms, great air conditioning and roomy. We had no idea that the accommodation included a housekeeper/cook as part of the package - We were there 8 days and so were able to enjoy local food she prepared from scratch every day. Delicious. She would shop for us too. There were western options but we didn't try those. The temperature of the pool and sea were divine. We wanted a holiday to relax and chill. We visited the local town and market it was very traditional and not touristy. Sunsets were really good so accommodation facing west is very much worth it. In terms of taxi / transport, the cost to get from the airport and the back to Jimboran on the other side of the island was EXTREMLEY good value, with stops on the way as we wished. The guy co-ordinated a few drivers and the service was reliable in clean airconditioned vehicles. We saw a previous review saying that the driver was pricey. That may have related to just the trips to the local town. His drivers had to come from 25 minutes away to get there (and back) so probably had to cover extra for that. So no issues from us. He came one evening and explained all the trips we were interested in and the prices. After then he didn't bother us. I was surprised there were no itchy bitey things - We took our insect repellant home unused. There were some big ish ants, but they didn't cause any bother. A few geckos hung out at night and a couple of bats. But again zero issue. It was nice to see them.
Negative: We didn't mind the dark sand beach but the beach in this area is not clean. We were warned. There was a local settlement along the beach and some would be fishermen - that was not a problem in itself, but I wonder how much rubbish was from them but/and there was hardly any livestock in the sea. so I assume most of that gets eaten should it come close! In the villa there were a few things that were tired and in need to repair, but this place was VERY well priced and comfort of everything else was great, so we didn't expect perfection. Once I got used to putting toilet tissues in the bin, rather than the loo, it was ok a bit like being on a boat, but weird at first. There are a few sweet cats mainly timid but no trouble. It is sad to say a couple had scabies and due to repeat treatment required (that we know of) we couldn't help them. There was one persistent hawker from the village, I felt sorry for him as the locals seem very poor.

Positive: This villa was absolutely the highlight of our holiday to Bali. Our housekeeper Yuli was amazing. We did not even know we'd have our own housekeeper at this villa when we booked, so this was an absolute delight. She cooked great Indonesian meals, went to do our groceries, cleaned the place and helped us around with basically anything and everything. The villa is located in a remote area where you won't find alot of tourists. The road towards the villa was already a fairytale. Driving through the riceterras, mountains in the background, open ocean in the front. The villa itself is very large and well-setup. It has a great swimming pool and you can shoot the most beautiful pictures when the sun sets in the ocean right behind the pool. We wanted to go on a dolphin tour, we got picked up on the beach right at the villa! What a service. Great quality accomodation for an ever better price!
Negative: When we arrived there was no staff available anymore and it was tough to get some food and drinks. Luckily we were able to order something with GRAB. As soon as the sun goes down, you will be attacked by mosquitoes. Make sure you bring anti-mosquito spray. The beds are WAY too hard. Waking up with backpain in the morning is not a great way to start the day.
Summary: What a great villa in a remote area, the most beautiful sunsets and very helpful staff!

Positive: We were very much looked after by Yuli, Adi and the team at North Cape Beach Villas. Yuli was a fantastic host! She made us feel welcomed, fed us delicious home cooked meals and kept the place spotless. Adi took us all over to see the sites of Bali - we felt safe and in good hands with him. We enjoyed being secluded and away from all the typical tourist spots, but it does mean trips to see the sites require transport and preplanning - which we found easy to organise and coordinate with Adi. The drive to and from the villa is through rice fields - beautiful views. The pool and garden were well maintained by the gardener every day. The rooms and all facilities at the villa exceeded our expectations, including the private pool which was used by the kids at least 3 times each day! The bedrooms were spacious and air conditioned and free wifi kept us connected when we were enjoying the outdoor spaces. Extras were priced well and easily organised with the team at the villa - including massages at the villa, a special meal of babi guling and airport transfers. Organising groceries with Yuli was easy to do. Recommended if you are looking for a secluded place to stay with family or a group of people.
Negative: Our only suggestions for the villa would be maybe some ceiling fans in the outdoor space or in the common living area inside to help cool downs those spaces and perhaps a larger fridge/freezer for groceries/leftovers for longer stays/group bookings.
Summary: Great place to stay with family or group of people to enjoy a relaxing, secluded holiday.

Positive: We prepared our own break fast.Lunch was prepared by Yuli and was good and a very good in her cleaning works and in assisting taxi’s etc…
Negative: No aircon in the living room…standing fan was provided and the weather being hot , was not much help. There are no visible sign on the main road directing the location of the property. We spent 30 min after discovering the road through GPS and one of the villagers rep escorted us to the Villa. One must have their own vehicle to visit the place. As the Manager / Indah was not much of help in getting taxis and the charges were more than what we managed to get ..she was not helpful. Since the resort is way out from the main road , should provide either a free shuttle service to the nearby restaurents or should provide competitive prices to get to places. It looked as if the Villa reps were out to sleece the visitors and wanted to get their own taxi service ….was a downside of our stay. Uber / Grab drivers do not wish to come over to the place, as it’s difficult to locate the Villa and have to go through the rice fields. Do not stay there if you don’t have your own transport….. The beach is black sand and has plastic bags etc..and does not invite you for a good swim…just watching the sea is fine from your own private pool. I summary, resort to provide the following : 1) A/C the living room and service the other aircons in the rooms , as it takes long time to make rooms cool. 2)Have your own vehicle and don’t expect any help from the resort manager to get you transport. 3)No need to bring your swimming trunks. 4)Bring your own stuff and use the kitchen your favourite dishes… The helper can cook well.
