Positive: Nice hotel, room nice with balcony and amazing view, could benefit from a little updating. Staff extremely helpful. Nice comfy bed, sheets and towels good. Even though we were the only guests in the hotel they made us food in the evening to have in our room. Breakfast cooked on request. Location is 1.5kms walk mainly uphill to the Ridge but not too taxing. However scary walk back in the dark as quite thin road with traffic, take care.

Positive: Great I had a truly wonderful experience during my stay. The accommodations were exceptionally comfortable, making for a very relaxing visit. I was also thoroughly impressed with the in-house dining options. The food served was absolutely delicious and of high quality. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a pleasant and satisfying experience.
Negative: I wanted to express my feedback regarding a recent experience. While I couldn't find any issues to report from my initial review, I later realized something that could enhance future bookings. It would be very convenient if the option to add dinner was presented during the booking process. This would allow users to plan their meals more easily. Thank you for considering this suggestion.

Positive: Room was really nice. Spectacular views from balcony. Non modern, felt like staying in country house. Food was really lovely. Personal dining service. Food freshly cooked.
Negative: 2nd night, very loud music & singing commencing approximately 22:20, due to staff party right below our rooms. Went on for 1.5 hours. After attempting to initially find somebody in reception & call reception, to ask to turn it off (there was nobody around to ask), we even messaged them via Booking.com - to date no reply. We resorted to finding the Manager/Waiter 3 times in the kitchen to ask to turn it off. Not helpful at all. Did not consider guests sleeping late at night. Made no eye contact with us when we asked. Worst of all, when we checked out today, no apology & no enquiry as to whether everything was ok with our stay or whether we’d enjoyed it.
Summary: Started really well but spoilt by lack of consideration last night & no apology this morning

Positive: The hotel, which was located in a quiet, was excellent as were the staff who were very friendly and courteous. Our spacious room had a balcony with lovely views of Shimla and the valley. It was easy to get into town. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel - all were excellent. If you travel to Shimla by the Toy Train you won't be disappointed!
