Positive: Still the most gorgeous setting and best maintained resort I have ever experienced. Denpasar is intensely populated but this little bit of paradise is well-hidden and protected.
Summary: Everything wonderful - even the weather was perfect despite being in rainy season - a few drops overnight one night.

Positive: If you are looking to relax and have a chilled holiday, this is the property for you. We loved it. The staff are awesome, and if you do want to spice up your holiday, you are only minutes from the famous day clubs and some amazing restaurants. The best of everything.

Positive: If you want to experience the essence of Bali, before it was a major tourist hotspot, The Oberoi is the place to go. The grounds are expansive, well-manicured and tranquil, you can't hear any of the hustle and bustle from the street, yet you are amongst one of the best areas to stay for shopping, eating and entertainment. The staff are wonderful and truly understand the meaning of hospitality. They are attentive and accommodating, anticipate your needs and contribute to a luxury stay. The resort offers all the extras you would expect from a 5-star rating. Although the resort is older compared to others in the area, it has been maintained to the highest level. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the resort offers a relaxing and uncluttered experience. There is so much space you tend to wonder where everyone else is. I have visited Bali over 10 times and stayed all over the island in many different hotels and resorts. The Oberoi is now my favourite and I would recommend this to those looking to find relaxation, tranquillity, and luxury. 10/10
Negative: The only thing that could have been better for us would have been cancelling our other hotel bookings and staying longer at The Oberoi.
