Summary: Very welcoming friendly staff. Lovely place well decorated and the room was comfortable. The best thing about staying here was the food. It was absolutely amazing I would thoroughly recommend it. The only thing missing for us was a lounge area where you could sit and drink rather than having to sit at the table. I would recommend this hotel.

Summary: Just what we wanted. Spotless,great food,very friendly hosts. It had some great walks. Daisy our labrador had a great time and if shes happy, we are happy. Already planning our next stay there. Deff recomend for a peaceful relax with great food.

Summary: I simply cannot recommend enough. It’s really hard for me to travel especially alone with my dog. I booked a room here thinking I may have to head home and they are wonderful! The service is the best I’ve experienced with or without the dog. My dog even got some Sunday lunch scarps! The room was lovely, parking and location perfect. It’s the most wonderful pub run by lovely people. I have just booked my return trip.

Summary: Stayed previously. But now a refurbished room, ultra friendly and helpful staff and even yummier food. Great value in such an expensive area

Summary: We spent a wonderful weekend at the Okeover Arms. Rooms are clean and comfortable, food was really good and the staff are absolutely brilliant, really friendly and helpful, as was the owner. Planning to return soon

Summary: We stayed for 2 nights bed and breakfast. The place is lovely. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious with beautiful views. The property is approx 1.5 miles from Ashbourne town centre. Callows Hall is also along the route. 7 min drive to Dovedale. We had dinner on one of the evenings which was also fab. Would definitely stay here again.
