Positive: Location is 10/10 and you won’t find better in the area, plus the host was wonderful! He even drove us to an excellent hiking spot he knew, when we were only expecting to be given directions. Do remember to ask Rolf about the beach with the waterfall, as it is very much worth checking out :D

Negative: I wanna state that this is not a fault on the host or accommodation, but more a tip to people traveling into Swedish woods for the first time :) Bugs and mosquitoes. There are lots of them. You think you are prepared for the Swedish woods but you never are. Bring lots of mosquito repellent, trust me on this.

Positive: Fantastic location, traditional beautifully built cabins with everything you need inside for a very cosy stay. Chairs down by the creek, wood fire inside and another outside to sit around. We went for a short drive to see moose. There is also a sauna. Central shower and toilets. Great water pressure in the shower. Rolfe was a font of knowledge on the local area and animals.

Negative: Nothing, just wished we could have stayed longer

Summary: Chill out in the wilderness, in comfort.
