Positive: The owners were friendly and extremely helpful, and gave us exactly the sort of information we wanted about local amenities and sights. They contacted me well before the reservation, and gave me a lowdown on the area, which I was able to keep in a file for when I arrived. We visited the Rathcrogan complex, as well as the National Famine Museum. They also let me know about a partial eclipse that was happening that night, which I got up for - the Kilcorkey Standing Stone is right next to them (in a private field, and therefore not fully accessible - but not far from a seating area in the Old Mill property), which was amazing to see up close during an eclipse. The bedrooms were perfect; it was myself and my mother, so we each had our own room. The shower was great, with excellent water pressure. The downstairs was a great landing spot for organizing our stuff, as well as providing for a spot to cook/make tea. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
Negative: I had to leave. That was the only thing I did not like.
Summary: Perfect Place to Stay
