Positive: Pretty characterful room, charming decor, nice bathroom (a bit wierd with the wardrobe in the bathroom) nice complimentary products.

Negative: The duvet wasn't wide enough, barely covered the bed with no one in it. No pillow protectors. Food smells from the kitchen underneath the room. Very early morning, really loud chefs with loud metal music, was very irritating.

Negative: Parking might be a little bit difficult due to location, we had a short water shortage, don’t know if that’s happening often, but didn’t affect lovely stay.

Positive: The location and this sleepy Cotswolds town are great especially when you are bored of always visiting Bibury, Lower and Upper Slaughter and Bourton on the Water. Tetbury was a new discovery and a new part of Cotswolds for us. The Hotel is situated right in the heart of the town and is easily accessbile with ample parking around. The hotel runs it's own restaurant which served some really good food and there is also a bar to hang about.

Negative: Being a regular vistor to Cotswolds we know that the value for money in peak season is rather low however even we couldn't work out how a payment of £470 for two nights is justified for the very very small family room. The carpets were dated, the room didn't even have an AC (we were given a small dyson fan). It got noisy when we opened the windows overlooking the main street. The stairs were creaky and the extra bed provided wasn't at all comfortable. The room was so small that with the extra bed there was hardly any space to wander in the room. The bathroom was overall okay but the shower drain constantly got clogged. Some of these basic things should be looked into. Overall it was like a room to sleep in to explore Cotswolds which is a shame at the price we booked the room for. We will not be returning to this hotel.
