Summary: The place was easy to find and very comfortable! Excellent spot on the river. Impressive DVD collection! Great hot tub! The wood stove was difficult to light, so I’d recommend bringing plenty of paper & kindling, and a good lighter, but once it’s going it’s a delight! No Big Foot sightings but we loved watching the vintage train go by!

Summary: Me, my husband and 5 of our 24 grandchildren stay here and we had such a wonderful time. The house was clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here. One down side was the steps but we made it and so well worth it. Thank you for helping us make such beautiful memories!

Summary: Home was spotless upon arrival, kitchen well equipped, the area across the road (yard and picnic shelter) was perfect, access to the water for fishing was convenient. The weather did not cooperate but we were still able to grill out of the rain and make the best of it. The bumper pool table was a hit as well! It was a great time and we would love to come back!

Summary: This location was absolutely beautiful & a wonderful spot in which it's remote yet about 5 minutes from groceries, gas, ect. Big enough for a large family or friends. Quiet & rustic. Surrounded by water & clean fresh air. We absolutely loved it!!

Summary: Enjoyed the Overlook a lot. Had our grandaughter and grandson with us. The pavillion and fire pit were a big hit. The big yard gave her a lot of safe play area. I was easy for the grandson to fish from the shore. We are planning a return trips to this rental.

Summary: We had a friends' weekend at the Overlook and had a great stay. The house was spotlessly clean and we felt right at home with cozy touches, a fully stocked kitchen for cooking, and the wonderful hot tub. We had a hard time initially connecting to the internet and figuring out the heating system, but Tiffany was incredibly attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. We loved the nearby towns of Davis and Thomas for exploring, and hope to be back when the weather warms up! We would highly recommend this property for a family or friends weekend.
