Positive: This was our second time staying at The Ozarker Lodge. The first time, the pool and hot tubs were closed — which was disappointing since we came all the way from Kansas City mainly for that — but the staff kindly invited us to come back and give them another chance. I really appreciate how customer-oriented this hotel is. I truly felt cared for and valued, and that means a lot to me. It creates such a warm, friendly atmosphere that just makes you want to return. Rooms: The hotel itself is a bit old, and you can notice a slight musty smell, but the renovation work is absolutely beautiful — very stylish and well done. Maybe we didn’t set the A/C correctly, but our clothes felt a little damp. However, since the weather was warm, it wasn’t a big issue. Breakfast: It’s a standard continental breakfast — yogurt, bagels, cereal, boiled eggs, waffles, and fruit (the apples and oranges looked like they’d been there for a while). There’s also coffee and juices available. Amenities: This is definitely what makes this place so popular. The heated pool and hot tubs are included in your stay, and this time we were able to fully enjoy them! The pool is truly warm, and the hot tubs are actually hot, which feels amazing in the morning or evening when it’s cooler outside. The coffee bar and fire pits add +10,000 points for atmosphere and coziness — I absolutely loved it! Our family really enjoyed our stay, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place to others!
