Positive: Absolutely lovely stay, cant fault it at all! We stayed in the family room with en-suite- very spacious and clean throughout. The staff were extremely polite which made for a great atmosphere. Had seen a few reviews about noise from the bar but this wasnt an issue, its a quiet country pub and other than muffled voices (as you'd expect above a pub) we wasnt disturbed - the kids slept soundly. All in all a great base to explore the cotswolds from - We will return!

Positive: The location was close to relatives. Quiet area and the room was a good size and comfortable. Nice shower room with included lotions etc.

Negative: Although we were permitted to drop our bags just before 2pm the room wasn’t ready and the bed was unmade. When we returned later in the evening it had been made up ok however we noticed that there was a few bits of grit on the carpet and what looked like a bit of plastic and some leaves under the bed so didn’t appear to have been vacuumed.

Summary: Nice pub and helpful staff - very convenient for our visit to family
