Welcome home to this beautifully restored 1900, 3-bedroom, 2-bath home in the heart of downtown Muscatine. Our 4th BR is currently unavailable.
The Pearl House is 2500 sq ft of living space that includes a new kitchen with all new appliances, a dining room seating 8 at an expanded table, a family room with wide-screen TV, a formal living room and bathroom on the first floor. The second floor is home to three bedrooms. One has a king bed and 4K TV, bedroom 2 has a queen bed and blackout curtains, and a third with a queen bed and an infant/toddler crib. A small office, large bathroom and laundry complete the second floor. (Temporarily unavailable) -- There is a fourth bedroom with two twin beds, walk-in closet and large storage area on the third floor, in a converted attic. No children under 10 in the 3rd floor converted attic, please, as the steps are very steep and narrow.
Max number of adults: 6 across 3 bedrooms.
We can accommodate 1 infant or toddler only.

Summary: This is a beautiful home. Plenty of room for two or three people in the kitchen. Plenty of room for games and card playing. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Summary: Stayed here with 6 couples. Picked Muscatine to visit as it is was drivable from our home and we wanted to visit breweries in the area. re The home was well appointed (even had a coffee bar with k-cups in the kitchen). We were concerned that one bathroom on the upper level might feel a little cramped with 6 of us, but it didn't. There was a shower on the main level if we needed it anyway. The large dining room table was great to play games & cards & share a meal. The front sitting room has a table that we put a puzzle together on while being able to watch the football game in the other room. So a lot of living space. Muscatine's quaint downtown had bars, restaurants and even the Button Museum... all walkable from the vrbo location. Even walked to the farmers market on our last day. Walked along the paved trail by the Mississippi River also (walked from our vrbo).

Summary: This house is lovely. Tastefully decorated. The bedrooms are very nice wirh such comfortable beds. Kitchen so complete with what you might need. They have thought of about everything. We so enjoyed our stay.

Summary: The house was so wonderful in person. Dave was such great host. He has just about anything you would need incase you forgot to bring it, Location is perfect to see Muscatine. We will defiantly be staying there again. Monte and family from VA.

Summary: We had a group of four women stay for a fun weekend away. This home had everything we needed and then some. Communication was excellent, check in and check out were very easy. The property was lovely - nicely furnished, great location, very homey. We would recommend and stay again if I’m the area.

Summary: Our family of 2 adults and 3 teens had a comfortable and very enjoyable stay at the Pearl House. There was plenty of space for privacy yet a large kitchen and dining area to be together. The mattress in the master room was so comfortable that I returned home and ordered the same. David has taken great care to anticipate the needs of travelers away from home.
