We are also within a .5 mile of the Gaines farmhouse. We hope you enjoy our family property that we have owned for over 20 years.

Summary: This property is so nice and spacious! 3 bedrooms with their own baths as well plus another bed gives a unique amount of privacy and space for a group of friends to spent time together!

Summary: Just far enough outside Waco, but not too far. The house has everything you need. Would have liked to have had more time to spend enjoying the back patio. The host was very easy to work with, too.

Summary: The is a very nice property and almost as advertised. It was a good location for our family gathering and there was enough room for everyone to enjoy themselves. We were not able to enjoy the deck the way we wanted because it rained the majority of the time we were there. I rated cleanliness lower because some of the towels had hairs on them and some of the dishes were not clean. We prepared for this and brought laundry detergent and dish soap to re-wash these items. There was also dish soap and laundry supplies on premises. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well, even in the "bedroom" opposite the living room with a privacy screen. The wifi was great most of the time for those of us who brought our laptops. A few things we loved...the bathtub in the primary bedroom...most of us were able to take advantage and enjoy a bath. Loved the stone flooring in the living areas but we were disappointed the wood stove was not working. Loved the large sink in the kitchen, but I was missing my double sinks when cooking our Thanksgiving dinner. All the other appliances were very nice and in great working condition. I prefer a gas range, but this electric one did a good job. There is a set of cookware, but no bakeware so we ended up buying a couple of items and bringing some others. We would definitely consider staying at this property again and would recommend it to others. The property is only about 15-20 minutes from everything you need: grocery stores, restaurants, Starbucks and shopping. Thank you John! We recommend more pillows for the beds and please get the wood stove repaired so people can enjoy it as the weather gets colder.
