The Ultimate Gathering Place at the Beach! The Pelican at Arch Cape is a large beachfront home located just 8 miles south of Cannon Beach, Oregon with private access to pristine Pacific Beach where small rivers lead to the sea and waves break on monolithic rock formations on either end.
An open concept living area with a wall of windows opens the home to unobstructed, panoramic views of Castle Rock, the beach and amazing sunsets. Take it all in from an expansive deck featuring a hot tub. A warm and well-appointed home, you're free to enjoy your large or intimate gatherings at the beach, while being within easy distance to nearby quaint towns, attractions, hikes and more beaches to explore.

1. Bedroom #1 - The Porthole Suite
En suite primary bedroom. Wake up to views of the Pacific ocean. A king size bed, walk in closet, private deck. Bathroom has a large walk in shower with fold down seat. Located upstairs on main floor and includes a SmartTV.
2. Bedroom #2 - The Lighthouse Suite
En suite primary bedroom with a soaker tub and separate shower, king size bed, private entrance to the deck and views. Secondary laundry in walk-in closet. Located upstairs on main floor.
3. Bedroom #3 - The Caribbean Suite
En suite primary bedroom with walk-in shower, king size bed and private entrance to the ocean side of the house. Located on the lower floor.
4. Bedroom #4 - The Lummi Room
Queen bed and twin bed. Located on the lower floor.
5. Bedroom #5 - The Bunk Room
Bunk room with built-in bunks totaling 4 queen beds, each with outlet and lighting. Located on the lower floor.
BATHROOMS
Upstairs has two bathrooms: one with a walk-in shower, and one with a separate tub and shower. Both have double vanities. Downstairs has two bathrooms: one with walk-in shower and one with tub/shower combo. Both have double vanities and enclosed toilets.
LIVING AREA
Upstairs is open concept with views from every angle. Living room, kitchen and dining area all look out over the ocean. Access to hot tub, expansive deck and beach.
The living room boasts a large SmartTV with Cable and access to apps like Netflix. A fireplace is ready for cool nights or just crackling ambiance.
A fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and all the tools needed for great meals or heating up ramen. A large table plus side table and bar top can accommodate 14 easily, a high chair is provided.
A BBQ is located on the deck at the front of the house.
Downstairs game room has large flat screen SmartTV.
An inflatable mattress and pack-n-play are available for extra sleeping space.
Large deck overlooking the beach and ocean, only steps away, on a low bank. There are some rocks to walk on before reaching the sand. A hot tub, and deck chairs and tables invite guests to enjoy the panoramic view of Castle Rock.

Minutes from Cannon Beach, we are also within easy distance of Manzanita and Nehalem, Hug Point beach, Oswald West State Park and Cape Falcon, Seaside, Astoria, great dining, live theater, movies, and good coffee..... You won't run out of things to do, if you can ever pull yourself away from the view out the front windows.

Summary: This house was great for our large family vacation. The owner was prompt answering questions. The hot tub was not working, as was advertised on the listing, but she did refund some of our money, which helped make up for it. We would stay at this property again.

Summary: This house is perfect for a large group (we had 7 people and a small dog). The rooms at large and spread out, so everyone has their own space in addition to the large open areas. The bathrooms are large with beautiful tile work and lots of light. The kitchen is better stocked with cookware than anywhere else I’ve ever stayed (there was even a Kitchenaid mixer!). We cooked all our meals there and decided it was even better stocked than our own places. That’s just the house—the view is fantastic! Good access to the beach but there are some rocks to walk over before you get to the sand. The only bummer was the hot tub wasn’t working while we were there but the host was very communicative and issued a refund for the trouble. Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: This Arch Cape home had the most spectacular views right on beach. Despite a winter storm, we were able to enjoy the beach walks in the rain and then savor the new hot tub. The interior space is very comfortable with a gorgeous renovation of bathrooms and outdoor deck. This home has an ample living/kitchen space open to many family activities: cooking, games at large table, and room for 14 to hang out in the living space. Huge windows allow incredible light, views and amazing wave watching. Many toys are supplied for young children for indoor and outdoor play. Clever bunk room design with 4 comfortable queen beds. The free-standing tub was a relaxing addition to a main bedroom suite. The kitchen island promoted family food prep, chats and extra seating for eating meals. Two large bedroom suites with huge bathrooms are upstairs with the kitchen/ living room. 2 bedrooms with the media room share the lower level space. Even though the January weather was great for wild wave watching, we were able to take nice walks and play on the beach between the rainfall. It was especially nice to enjoy the hot tub and look forward to using the spacious deck on future visits.

Summary: We love the Pelican House - sit has become family tradition to stay every year. The kitchen is very well stocked, making cooking easy, and games and toys for kids! Natalie is very responsive. We will be back!

Summary: First let me say this is beautiful property we had stayed at two other times so we’re excited to coming back.It had been probably 3 or 4 years .Things happen and we understand that but the lack of care and communicating problems in advance were numerous.Garbage wasn’t disposed of in recycle bins meant to be done so by the cleaners.The receptacle room was packed with garbage.In general we observed that woodwork and ,floorboards and doors were dingy.The downstairs bathroom was missing half of its shower door which was never communicated and should have been fixed for safety reasons before any guests paid to stay there .The towels and bedding was tired and their wasn’t enough.The paper towels and toilet paper which is stated are supplied was not enough for our group.The owner did have the cleaner drop some off so I give credit for that.The kitchen sink cupboards are in need of repair.The property was beautiful when we visited the first couple times but the love is lacking now which is really sad.With a little more care it could be back to the way it was.As we said in the beginning it is a beautiful spot and hope improvements will be made.

Summary: 7 girlfriends that have known each other 58+ years gathered to celebrate our 70th Birthdays. The location on the Oregon Coast was perfect for day trips in both directions. What a treat sitting in the hit tub and looking at the ocean

Summary: House was as advertised. Location is exceptional. There was a little communication problem the day of check in as to how the door code was sent but the host responded very quickly. Loved the fenced area for dogs as it made letting the dog out very easy and safe. Beds were a little hard for my taste but we remedied that with extra blankets. There is no info binder in the house, which I'm use to in rentals, but there was signage in the house itself. (Still would like to see a binder.)
