Summer activities include: Hiking, Whitewater Rafting, Fishing, swimming, boating, and exploring the New National Monument. The Boom house which was totally renovated in 2019 is a warm, peaceful, comfortable place to stay after a long day of hiking , whitewater rafting or snowmobiling.

Summary: Great place! Clean and cozy with all the comforts of home! Crazy winter thaw so we had to trailer sleds to park and ride a few days. It was 2 minutes away and the trails were perfect! House is located so close to everything!! Scott was awesome and very accommodating! Thanks Scott!

Summary: Everything was perfect. The location was just right for my family and I to attend a reunion at a near by camp. The house was so clean and comfortable that I wish I could have stayed longer to explore the town and just relax in the house!

Summary: Don't hesitate to book this gem! This is our second stay and it was just the way we remember it. It is 5 minutes to town, spotless, easy to check in, super fast communication, and great for teens, adults, and grandpas. The kitchen and all areas are well stocked with anything and everything we needed for a great multi generational trip to hike Katahdin. We will be back for sure. Thanks again - you have a great home in one of the prettiest places on earth. :)

Summary: Perfect place for the snowmobiler that wants to see central Maine. We day tripped in the area and also did an overnight to Presque Isle....all trails groomed and ready to ride. Property was comfortable and good location.

Summary: Scott and the house were exactly as described and perfect for our base camp for 4 days of snowmobiling in the central part of the state . Close to everything one might need gas ,food, restaurants, local club, general store . We would definitely stay here again ! Thanks Scott
