Only 2.5 miles from the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, 5 miles from gig beautiful Lake Michigan Beach, 2 miles from Silverback Drag Racing, 1.5 miles from Golden Sands Golf Course and 2 minutes from Craig's Cruisers. In the winter months, hop on the Hart-Montague Snowmobile Trail right from our front yard! Open during hunting season as well.

Summary: Several issues arose could have been addressed by the host: The listing lacked key details prior to booking such as the absence of linens (we had to bring our own) and a two-car limit. As this is a major off-roading area and we had five adults, we feel that this was an unreasonable expectation as to number of cars. We likely would not have booked if we had known about these limitations beforehand. Crucial information like the need to empty the RV's water tank daily was not communicated, leading to a stressful incident with a flooding bathtub on July Fourth. The host's response was that we should have known that an RV tank needs to be emptied. If they had told us at any time prior to the flooding, this could have easily been avoided. And they did not tell us where to dispose of trash, and we had to contact them during checkout to ask. The hosts admitted their inexperience in renting out the property – buyer beware. Any rental in 2024 should be providing at minimum bedding – especially one that was four figures to rent. The door to the RV was improperly installed (per one of our guests who is a mechanical engineer). As such, the screen door broke during normal use. The property owners do not have a good grasp on VRBO’s platform – after booking,l was improperly refunded and asked to return money to the host. I did so to protect our booking, but this shouldn’t have happend in the first place. The host attempted to bill us for the door past the 14 day damage period

Summary: This camping spot is nice and private despite being in a busy area- we really enjoyed it. Made a fire and some s’mores and just hung out. Camper is very nice, and was very clean. Fully stocked with kitchen utinsels. I would recommend having knowledge of campers- this helped us navigate some things. There was no hot water but luckily we only stayed one night.
