Positive: This is our second stay at the Piggery and as before was a wonderful place to relax and sleep. We were visiting family and this is the ideal place to stay. Comfortable and cosy, great place for our dogs and the enclosed patio is great to be able to let them wander. Highly recommended it.

Positive: Property was beautiful, in a lovely peaceful location with a pub 10 min walk away, during the winter months a little muddy and dark so take a torch. Bedrooms were spacious, beds very comfortable, bathrooms included all shower gel etc Kitchen area had everything needed if cooking and tea/coffee provided which is a nice touch. Lounge area was very comfortable lots of cushions and throws. Looking at some previous reviews i can’t understand how people complained of road noise as you are back far away from the road which i wouldn’t say was busy or noisy. Lovely outside area fenced off which was great for our dog Frank. Would definitely recommend and stay again

Positive: The loft is a spacious, airy apartment, well-equipped and clean. Even during an August heatwave, the accommodation was comfortable. The rural location offered peace and tranquility - occasionally interrupted at night by the calls of tawny owls.

Negative: The turn off the road is not marked by more than small bridal path signs - difficult to see in the dark.

Positive: We liked the place and it was enough for 3 days. Owners were flexible with check out which was much appreciated. It was cosy and close to many hiking paths, easy to find.

Negative: The road nearby is very loud which we didn't realise when we booked. The place could have been cleaner (windows when opened lots of flies, bugs, spider webs, fridge not clean, dirty oven, scratched frying pen) Terrace downstairs is overlooked by the downstairs place so not secluded or romantic at all with a spotlight motion sensor.
