Prince Edward County is a very special place. You may find yourself here one weekend, falling in love and moving permanently, a large number of people have. Affectionately known as "The County" the area is comprised of small villages and hamlets scattered amongst farm fields and quaint shops. Located in Lake Ontario you will fall in love with the people, the food, nature, and art. The area hosts 3 provincial parks and over 800km of shoreline.
Getting Around:
Visiting Prince Edward County does require your own vehicle. There is no public transit or Uber in The County, although we do have a number of taxi companies and car or hire services.

Summary: The Porch is a lovely property, very clean and well maintained. Everything you need to stay either one night or a week was provided. Great location only 2km away from the town and a short drive to many wineries. I would recommend staying at the property for a group of friends or a family. The only draw back was communication with Book Places in PEC (they manage properties in the area), it was at times and a bit frustrating. But that has nothing to do with the owners or the property.
