Positive: Beautiful, historic building with lots of period charm. Friendly, helpful staff. Spacious, elegant room. Located in an interesting historic district near downtown.
Negative: The breakfast was fair, as only a couple of choices were offered. For this type of boutique hotel, I would have expected freshly made items and to be served at a table rather than being given a paper bag to go.

Negative: Too expensive, in a very bad part of town (no walking around at night), and no pool or hot tub.

Negative: Breakfast was a joke. You get a brown bag with some random items. If this is the best you can do, simply don’t include breakfast with your rooms.

Positive: Breakfast was quite good compared to standard hotel breakfasts. The shuttle service was a great amenity in that it saved me the cost of a Lyft ride on Saturday night. The room layout was quite nice and comfortable. Also, definitely check out Monk's bar!
Negative: It would be nice if the shuttle service was offered for more hours aside from 4PM-12midnight on Friday and Saturday, but I understand the limitations based on demand.
Summary: Great hotel in a good location - highly recommend if visiting Pittsburgh!
