Summary: The place was as advertised as anyone would hope and expect. The thing that sets S&S apart is that I felt like I was bumming a house from some friends of mine I have known my entire life. The peace and quiet was a given. I got more than I bargained for with everything else. And the everything else separates them from everyone else.

Summary: This property was amazing! Sarah and Sam have gone out of their way to provide every conceivable comfort of home. Snacks, games, plush towels and comfy linens... really everything you could possibly want. It is in easy walking distance to the Bishop Arts district that had many restaurants and cool shops, and is very close to downtown Dallas. It was honestly perfect in every way... but... I really wanted to give this property 10 stars, but there was one thing. The property managers required that we either purchase expensive damage insurance or put down a huge damage deposit. This requirement really turned me off. We knew we would not damage the property, so did not want to throw away three figures on insurance that was not needed. So we placed the four figure deposit, expecting that it would be promptly refunded after checkout. It is a REALLY LARGE interest free loan to somebody -- VRBO or whoever holds the money. It took us contacting the property owner once and VRBO twice to get our deposit back. I have traveled to many places around the world and never had to put up thousands of dollars damage deposit (or purchase insurance) at any kind of lodging. I don't know if these owners got burned and that's why they do this. I'm sorry if that happened to them. But it's a huge amount of money to have to hand over for a three day stay. Aside from that, this place was absolutely perfect and I highly recommend it, and would happily stay again. I hope the owners will reconsider their insurance/deposit policy.

Summary: Where do I begin?? Everything about this property was amazing! The property has a great layout and was more spacious than I had anticipated. It definitely felt like home away from home as Sarah and Sam have gone above and beyond in their decorations and amenities. The location was close to everything in Bishop Arts so we were able to walk to the local restaurants. The check-in process was easy and the owner's communications about the stay was detailed and made the whole experience great. This property exceeded my expectations and I look forward to staying again next time I am in Dallas. .
