The Quiet Cabin is a cozy cabin 20 minutes north of Whitefish. Our cabin is a perfect getaway for a couple or someone looking for a quiet retreat. The cabin is part of a ranch. The cabin provides access to trails for walking, biking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and horseback riding. No more than 2 adults. It is less than an hour to drive to Glacier, about an hour drive to Flathead Lake and 20 minutes from Eureka (and the Canadian Border). There are endless opportunities to explore the pristine wilderness that surrounds the Flathead Valley. There is a wood-burning stove for the chilly Montana nights.

Summary: The cabin is an absolute treasure and the hosts are lovely. We can not wait to stay again. If you want to rejuvenate and appreciate nature, away from it all, stay here. This is one of those special places that is hard to leave when it’s time to go. We will visit again for sure!

Summary: A great place to stay if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of a town. This place has a wonderful view of the meadow. The Host's are great communicators a wonderful to deal with. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: The Quiet Cabin was exactly what we needed! The remote location is far enough away from Whitefish to give you a sense of peace and quiet but also provides many great places to eat and shop in just a short drive. We enjoyed the coziness of the cabin and sitting on the front porch watching the wildlife play and roam about the meadow. This was our first trip as empty nesters, and the cabin and surrounding scenery provided an excellent environment to reconnect in this new chapter of our lives. The history of the cabin brought a personal family touch to our stay. Thank you, Elaine, for sharing your family cabin with us! Elaine and her husband are wonderful hostesses. We will definitely book again in the future.

Summary: Mrs. Elaine and her husband are very friendly and responsive to all of our needs. The cabin is serene and cozy with spectacular views of the Rockies and deer frolicking thru the prairie. This place is a must. It's obvious the amount of care put into this adorable cabin. We will be back one day as this was an experience of a lifetime. Wish we were still there.

Summary: This was the best getaway. It was so nice to be in the country and enjoy the wildlife and the beautiful views. The stars were unbelievable. The host was wonderful and she shared homemade Huckleberry jam with us. We had everything we needed. THANK YOU for a great week.

Summary: I chose this cabin while planning a special retreat for my husband and myself. It was our first trip together without our kids in over 10 years and being from Iowa farm country I knew he would not want to stay in a busy hotel. The Quiet Cabin far exceeded our expectations and we found ourselves hurrying back to watch the sunset and sitting on the deck to watch the sunrise in the morning. It was stocked with everything we needed and then some. The hosts made us feel welcome and we appreciate the gifts and small touches that made it feel like home, including sharing the story of the cabin. This was our fist experience with a VRBO and they set the bar pretty high! We hope to come back again someday. Thanks so much. 🌲⛰️💞

Summary: This cabin is the perfect getaway! We spent 4 nights here and went to Glacier National Park each day. It was just under an hour drive to the West Park entrance. If you take Going-To-The-Sun Road, it takes about 3 hours to get to Many Glacier. It took us a little under 30 minutes to get into Whitefish. The cabin was stocked with the necessities and more! It was clean and there was always a quick response from Elaine when we had a question. I would highly recommend staying here for a quiet getaway!
