Summary: Room was clean and comfortable. Antique furnishings throughout the hotel, all spotlessly clean but period correct for the past. Staff were all helpful and professional.

Summary: The Red Lion Hotel was a great place to stay!! I would definitley come back again and stay there! I loved the bar downstairs and the restaurant! Our room was perfect and we had lots of room! The bed was super comfy - a marshmallow bed!! LOL! The location was nice to walk to the different shops in town! Fun place!

Summary: Great service in the tavern when I arrived, slow service in the rest. for breakfast due to lack of servers. My room was lovely, clean.

Summary: Room was comfortable and clean. The Inn is beautiful. We went to the Lions Den both evenings and had a drink and listened to live music. We couldn’t get a table at the restaurant but there are other good options in walking distance. The only disappointment was that the fireplace in our room was not working.

Summary: Lovely historic hotel that we enjoyed but also knew going in not to expect modern…yes the floors creak and doors and windows dont fit snuggly. We loved it for all those reasns! Staff is wonderful! Enjoy the front porch while you are there!

Summary: We stayed in one of the Maple Glen rooms. So quintessential New England. Just lovely. The staff was top notch, the room was cozy - the pool and hot tub were wonderful....

Summary: I love this Inn and stop there whenever I pass through. The rooms are all a bit different ans very vintage. Nice sheets and towels and Nespresso maker in the room. If you arrive late in the day almost all of the local shops are closed which I find to be a negative. There is a mini fridge in the room, however mine was set to a level which froze all my food. there is a window about 3’ x 2’ in the shower, which looks out on the parking area. There is no curtain shade or anything else covering it.! it looks like at one point it was painted over but it’s all come off. Overall, I definitely recommend this Inn, but there are some things that aren’t perfect.
