Summary: Apartment was a good size, well furnished, clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Bed was reasonably firm which we appreciated and it was very quiet at night. Also liked the lock up garage even if it was a bit tight to enter. Lots of wildlife in the resort area. It was a good base to explore the nearby mountains in Autumn.

Summary: The Retreat was a wonderful property to stay, situated in a beautiful setting. The cabin was clean, had a variety of cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. The shower pressure was divine! There were a number of friendly kangaroos carrying babies who visited us in the afternoon and we enjoyed watching their antics. Overall, we had a relaxing weekend away and cannot wait to return for another adventure.

Summary: The Retreat is in a great location at Lake Crackenback. 10min walk to SkiTube. The garage is a definite bonus but would be tight? for a large car. Kitchen & laundry well equiped. Lounge & bed comfy. A lovely place to retreat to after a full day on the snow.

Summary: The Retreat provided us with a comfortable and cozy stay. The surrounding area was peaceful and full of lively animals and scenic mountains. We hiked the awesome Thredbo river trails and fished in Lake Crackenback. We witnessed the first snow fall of the season. We couldn’t have asked for a better week.

Summary: The check in process was simple as was the communication with Alpine Property, especially as there were problems with wifi, TV and a faulty bathroom tap. Apart from that hiccup, the bed was very comfortable, storage in the bedroom was good and it was a roomy bedroom and apartment. Having the garage and your own laundry was a bonus Basic provisions provided were appreciated and our overall stay was very pleasant & we’d stay here again.
