Ideal location for year around enjoyment.We offer this home for rent by the week or weekend.We have a clubhouse that features a seasonal in-ground heated pool,sand volleyball court,basketball court,horseshoe pits,childrens playground,charcoal grills,picnic areas and park swings.This home overlooks a sparkling spring-fed 3 acre swimming lake with a sandy beach. The lake is stocked with fish which is great for children.The clubhouse may be rented for private parties.
Now Open, Michigan's Largest indoor waterpark, Avalanche Bay only 10 minutes away.
Spring time brings the annual Morel Mushroom Festival to our area. This area is considered the finest in the state for Morel hunting.Spring time is also great for fishing in the many area lakes and streams.
Summer time cannot be any more enjoyable than to stay and play in the beautiful area that we offer.Golfers can play over 30 courses within a 30 mile radius of this home.
We have numerous beaches and lakes that can be enjoyed by the entire family.Great shopping,biking,boating,canoeing,sightseeing and numerous are all within minutes.
Mackinac Island is less than an hours drive away.Mackinac Island is one of the great tourist attractions in the western world.It's landmark Grand Hotel has been the subject of both movies and songs. The Island has a ban on automobiles that reinforces the strong sense of history that dominates the luscious landscape. This is a must see for everyone while you stay at our home.
Fall time brings a great time to visit our area. Fall color tours are considered some of the finest Michigan has to offer. Golfing in the fall can be the most enjoyable of the year with less crowds and beautiful fall views of the area landscape.Fall vacations can also be very relaxing with less crowds to deal with.
Winter. We are the Midwest's favorite winter destination.
Downhill skiing at Boyne Mountain (10 minutes away),Boyne Highlands and Nub's Nob resorts offer over 100 runs with over 30 ski lifts.Cross-Country skiing with over 350 kilometers of trails that take you through beautiful forests and along lakes and streams
are all nearby.Snowboarding,tubing and ice skating are also available nearby.
Snowmobiling the hundreds of miles of groomed trails and seasonal roads can be enjoyed from the doorstep of this home.Snowmobile rentals are available.We are the Heart of Michigans snowbelt.

Summary: We had a great stay at the Roundhouse. It's centrally located near Petosky, Charlevoix, and a Boyne and not too far of a drive from other Northern Michigan hotspots like Mackinaw City and Traverse City. For us the highlight was the giant yard with a ton of room for lawn games, kite flying, camp fires, s'more's and "stellar" star gazing.

Summary: This was a very comfortable home for 4 families! The set up was great with each family getting a "wing" of the house with their own bathroom. Two separate living areas and kitchens were a huge bonus too. We loved the pool, large yard, and pond. There were plenty of yard games and tables set up for outside fun! Nice proximity to Boyne City and Petoskey for day trips.

Summary: We picked this place because it was close to Petoskey, Mackinaw Island and Boyne Mountain. Our young grandkids like the turtles, fish and pool. My grand kids also liked going to Lake Michigan and searching for Petoskey stones and Miniature Golf. My older children liked the big yard for playing games outside. We had 11 of us and each family had their own wing and bathroom. My older kids liked it because we could just stay where we were and relax. We liked the pickleball court, shuffleboard and ice cream store in Walloon. Walloon even had a beach if you didn't want to go to Lake Michigan. I liked the river walk in Downtown Petoskey. My family said they would definitely come back if we decided to vacation near Petoskey again. The host of this venue had a well stocked kitchen. The washer and dryer was nice to have too.

Summary: This place was perfect for our family vacation with 14 people. The grandkids loved both the pond and the pool. We were close enough to everything where me made day trips to several locations - including Mackinaw Island. The host was exceptional, and communication was great. Everyone had a wonderful time. Highly recommend.

Summary: The owner of the property was very nice and was on top of everything. He replaced the microwave when it wasn’t working and replaced the grill with a new grill when it wasn’t working. I would highly recommend this VRBO for large groups. It is centrally located and you can branch out to any of the amazing lakes and cities around there. The kids had a blast in the swimming pool and down by the pond. I discovered food under some of the beds, which is a negative to the house cleaning lady. I forgot to tell the owner. The bedrooms are small as stated. We are looking forward to returning next year for another amazing family week.

Summary: We had a party of 10. The 7 bedrooms and 4 baths worked perfect for us. The pool was fun for the 3 grandchildren (6, 12, 14). Neighbors in the community were very pleasant. Bob and Lisa were very accommodating when we asked to have a delivery made prior to us getting to the house. All of their suggestions for things to do in the area did not disappoint. My hope is to come back again soon
