Positive: Amazing location, beautiful view. Ruth has done an amazing job making the most of the space. We were so comfortable and felt so at home. We loved the food hamper she left, so generous! She also left tea cakes on our pillows (Tunnocks Ones as well, the best ones!) thank you Ruth we'll be back!

Positive: Very cosi! Ruth is a wonderful host. She pays attention to charming details that make the stay at the cottage warm and welcoming. A generous basket with everything needed for a hearty breakfast was waiting for us. Great view and comfortable bed.

Positive: The location was exceptional- fabulous drive to it and view when we got there. Off the beaten track. A lovely selection of food supplies left for us, including fresh local eggs. Lovely host
Negative: I’d forgotten that there was no hob, and I’d planned to do pasta. I was fine though cooking it in the microwave. It would be useful to have a bigger bowl to cook things like that in.

Positive: Extremely comfortable place, is amazing to get off grid for a few days. Ruth’s hospitality was amazing. The little details were so lovely, from fresh cut flowers and popcorn alongside the DVD collection. Ruth left us so much breakfast and was so kind to stop in and check if we needed anything.
Negative: We slightly struggled with the food options, as a lot of the recommended places to eat were only open once a week (not during our stay) and there is only a microwave and toaster, but this is no reflection on the place itself as it is perfect to get off grid.

Positive: The localisation is amazing, in a quiet area. The view from the window is astonishing. Everything was clean and tidy and Ruth was a very nice host, always keen to help us if we need anything. We also appreciated the food and drinks let there for us.

Negative: The road from Broadford was challenging. 15 miles very narrow in parts with passing places very necessary. Lots of potholes. However the cottage was in a beautiful part of the world once you got there.

Positive: Cosy, clean little property, breakfast hamper provided with pastries, sachets porridge, jams, butter, juices, yogurt . Little extras around the place.
Summary: Enjoyed our quiet 2 nights stay. Out of season other eating business close so take extra food with you to easily cook.

Positive: Ruth was a very welcoming host and provided generous amounts and a wide variety of breakfast options. We had chosen the location ( based on previous visits to the area) so knew we wanted to take the boat to walk Sgur na Stri and visit the Spar cave. The suite was well appointed, cozy and warm with walks from the door and fabulous views across the sea. Lots of local books and maps were really helpful. Ruth- thank you!
Negative: There was very little to not like! Perhaps clear instructions for the television and a grab rail for stepping out of the Bath/shower but these are minor things!
