Positive: The hotel has all the modern comforts. We were pleasantly surprised as the hotel building is very old, but has been upgraded. The staff were great and the breakfast was very tasty. On the town's main street. Close to the Cathedral.

Summary: Walking distance to town center, cathedral, and train station. We had a wonderfull stay!

Positive: Very friendly and helpful staff who made us feel welcome and valued the room was excellent, glad to see Fair Trade products, including decaf tea and coffee bags cooked breakfast was very good, We would have also enjoyed some fruit available as part of our breakfast

Positive: Bed and pillows really comfortable one of the best we've come across. Window blind repeatedly fell down. Tea and coffee provided very poor in quantity and choice. Good breakfast bit pricey. Good location. Would definitely stay again. Our room was a small double but perfectly OK.

Positive: The pub decor and vibe is above what you would expect from a pub. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ample and delicious

Negative: It’s is such a shame that with the new fire regulations which came in effect at the beginning of the year has meant that the comfort zones on the first and second floors no longer have seating. This is not a reflection on the pub. It would seem that they had to remove them to comply
