Positive: I absolutely loved this cottage. It is a bit quirky but I liked that. Rebecca and Alec have put a lot of thought into the decoration, furnishing and equipment in the cottage and everything anyone could need is there. It is immaculately clean. I loved the wood-burner and the sauna was great after a long day of walking. There is good walking on the moors straight from the front door and Haworth and Oakworth are just a few minutes drive away. Very convenient for the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. The phone signal is weak here but there is excellent wi-fi so internet calling and messaging is no problem. I have stayed in dozens of cottages over the years and The Salt Pot is probably the best of them all. I definitely recommend for a solo traveller or a couple.
Negative: Nothing to dislike.
Summary: The perfect week's stay. This is how holiday cottages should be.

Positive: Lovely location and interesting quirky property and very well equipped and comfortable (subject to comment below). Very little contact with hosts, but what there was was very friendly. 2 really rich tasty eggs supplied as part of useful welcome pack (sadly as autumn no chance to obtain more).
Negative: (Context; we are in our 70's, I'm disabled, and my wife has mobility issues) Biggest issue was getting to/from property from car across wet flagstones which all seemed to slope in different directions, this was not apparent from property photos online. A real shame as the property inside was almost perfect. The only issue inside would only affect people with mobility issues like ours, the settees were too low, comfortable to sit in but difficult to get up again, similar issue with the bed but not as extreme. Free Netflix OK but would have preferred Sky (especially Sports channels). No 02 phone signal, Wi-Fi good when available but somewhat intermittent late afternoons.
Summary: Lovely quirky and well-appointed bungalow, but not suitable for the mobility challenged.
