Positive: The room was clean had a great view of the ocean and mostly helpful staff. There was also a restaurant down below, which was great.
Negative: The room was very warm. There were no fans or air conditioning. The bathroom was designed with no door to the bathroom. So when someone was using the toilet somebody else in the room could see them going to the restroom. The cigarette smoke from the smoking section from the restaurant down below went into the room till about 3am. The staff and owners are kind helpful and they reported they would help my elderly parents with their luggage down the stairs in the morning however nobody was available in the morning when they were leaving around 8 AM. Some sort of elevator would’ve been helpful to bring the luggage and elderly people and people who have knee problems get to the accommodation that was up two flights of stairs. it seems that the accommodation was fairly new and still needs some fine-tuning

Positive: I was at the Wexford Fleadh, and was looking for somewhere to stay half way to Cork , Waterford seemed full and the Saratoga turned out a perfect stay, as I had not planned to stay out of Waterford. I don't have a car ,but transport links in the day time are Ok... The staff where brilliant at putting me on the right track Sunday morning , to continue my journey back into Wexford I recommend the Saratoga for a pleasant stay

Positive: The room was a good size and very clean. The girls on staff were very helpful and friendly.
Negative: The location is under New Management. Unfortunately, they have made changes and are no longer providing the advertised breakfast. This was not communicated to us prior to our arrival, even though the new management had taken over about 10 or so days previously. We were directed to the new owner's other property in a neighboring town where we could purchase a breakfast, but this did not fit our travel plans. There was a slight adjustment to our charge for the lack of breakfast but it would not have purchased two breakfasts at the other hotel I'm sure. What would have been more customer focused would be either to reach out prior to our arrival and allow us the opportunity to cancel our reservation or to provide two vouchers for breakfast at their other hotel and charge us the price we were originally quoted for the stay.

Positive: The room is large, comfortable, warm and welcoming with a sea view. The owner was available to resolve a problem I initially had.
Negative: In the Pub under the hotel you can only drink... if you want to eat something you must necessarily have a car to go and find something because there is nothing reachable on foot nearby

Positive: I like everything about the Saratoga. The staff are friendly, welcoming and will go over and beyond to accommodate any needs you may have. Andrew the manager is an exceptional host. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. The bar is warm and inviting and the food is outstanding thanks to their amazing chef. Breakfast is 10 / 10. Music at night on the weekends. If travelling on your own you will not be lonely. The locals are very friendly. The beach is only a stone throw from the accommodation. Great for long walks in the evening and you will not get a better view of the sunset. 15 minutes to Waterford city. 10 mins to Dunmore East. I am very blessed to have found this hidden jem in Ireland 🇮🇪. If I could rate the Saratoga 6 stars I would. Looking forward to my next stay already.

Negative: The water in the shower wasn't too hot, as l am sooo cold blooded😍. The staff promised to give me breakfast at 09:00 as per request but only opened the door for me at 09:30, this delayed my trip back to Killarney 😞
