Summary: The bed was comfortable and kitchen well equipped. You could tell the hosts were concerned about covid safety. Very relaxing. The space is very old and could use weatherstripping, but I liked the down home quality of it. Check out the Robert R. Moton Museum!

Summary: Cabin was nice and kitchen was furnished with everything you need to cook. Property manager was very fast and prompt with any questions I had. It was my birthday. I was greeted with pink roses and a birthday card. She made my birthday feel special which was very nice. Th bed is very cozy. We will be back.

Summary: Property was exactly as described. Excellent check in and we were greeted by owner upon arrival. Close to Hampden Sydney College, as we were on a visit to watch our son play baseball. Already have place booked for spring baseball season.

Summary: I recently spent three days at this unique property. I found it to be exactly as described in the owner's write-up. Surrounded by trees, it was quiet, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well equipped, and the inside temperature was quite comfortable throughout my stay. The bathroom was clean and bright. Linens were first-rate. I'd like to add that the floors were beautiful...first-growth heart pine. The host met me upon arrival to make sure I had everything I needed. The host also met me upon departure to make sure I was satisfied. What a delight. I look forward to a return visit. I truly feel privileged to stay at this property with such a fascinating history.

Summary: The entire process of checking in, staying, etc… was easy due to fantastic and timely communication. Easy. Easy. Easy. The cabin is just perfect. Had all the amenities to make my stay comfortable. Had a cold weather dip in temperature and the heating system was very effective which made for a comfortable stay. The grounds are beautiful with lots of blooms and gorgeous scenery as well. I will definitely stay there again!
