This farmhouse is perfect for a weekend getaway, small events, family reunions, and so much more! Located within walking distance from The Schroeder Farm Wedding and Event Venue that has events from May-October, this place serves as a bonus if coming there for an event. Features a beautiful and peaceful upstairs living room: perfect for reading in the morning or gathering your girlfriends for getting ready the morning of a wedding. Also features a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of dining spaces and ample parking. The back patio allows one to take in the nature and scenery of small town Minnesota. The house features three desks/getting ready spaces in the upstairs living room with many mirrors. One of the main floor bedrooms also has closets that were converted to makeup stations for guests. The house features one large bathroom on the main floor and one bathroom in the basement.
The house features three bedrooms on the main floor: 1 Queen bed bedroom, 1 King bed Bedroom, and a 2 Queen bed bedroom. Downstairs features 4 queen beds that are bunk beds! These were a special project that will help serve more guests. Downstairs also has ample entertainment space that would be awesome space for an event with the help of a rustic bar, TV’s, games, greenery wall, and extra fridge space. There is Wifi coverage around the property. In addition, cubbies/lockers were installed in the basement to help guests keep their items tidy. Summary: Property received excellent reviews which were misleading. It is an old farmhouse which needed a deep cleaning. Shower floor on main floor was disgusting and covering it with a mat was not helpful. Dishwasher was caked with grime from hard water and smelled. Years of dirt was on cabinets and knobs.Some amenities listed were not there. Price did not match condition of property. I have stayed in many VRBO rentals and this was the worst.

Summary: My family wasn't impressed with this rental. We chose it for the location because we had a family gathering near Lake Crystal. The home itself, however, needed some more upkeep. Nothing major, but lots of small maintenance tasks. The upstairs shower was surprisingly tiny; I'm not a big guy but it was difficult to shower in this tiny compartment. I suggest the home would be great for a bachelor party since it has lots of space indoors and out, but my family was disappointed in the overall condition of the house.

Summary: We had an amazing stay. The property is within walking distance to the wedding venue. We would highly recommend booking this for friends and family! It was great for the girls to get ready in for the day of wedding. Many sleeping areas for the couple and freinds who stayed! Nothing but good things to say and very accommodating!!

Summary: It was so nice to be close to the wedding venue that my son got married at. My elderly mom and my grandkids stayed with us so it was nice for my mom and great for the kids to have room to run around. The place was great (but showers could be a little larger).
