When you walk up the stairs of this tropically landscaped home the first thing you notice is the wonderful front porch. You can sit and enjoy the breezes or watch the kids play in the front yard. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
-A two-night minimum stay is required.
-Check in time is approximate time; housekeeping and maintenance make all attempts to be ready by 4pm but there is no guarantee.
-STARTER set for guests to include two trash bags, dish soap and two dishwashing pods, one toilet paper roll per bathroom, one paper towel roll, mini toiletry supplies. Guests SHOULD bring extra amounts of these items as the starter set is for 1 night, and we will not resupply the home.
-Construction is always happening somewhere in Port Aransas; we can't guarantee that you won't hear/see construction, building, or community improvement projects and events during your stay.
-Cable/WIFI is provided as a convenience; Port A does experience outages from time to time. There are no refunds for outages of cable/WIFI or if city pool is closed for cleaning, repair or maintenance.
-Please remember that you are on an island; mosquitos/pests can be plentiful several times per year. Our properties are treated by professional pest control service every month.
CLEANING AND INSPECTION
-We use disinfecting products that meet or exceed CDC performance standards.
-Every property is stocked with bath towels & washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property along with one hand towel per bathroom.
-These complimentary amenities are provided in the property as a convenience until you can go shopping: hand/bath soap, one toilet paper roll per bathroom, one paper towels, two dishwasher pods, two trash bags, and one make-up wipe per bathroom.
-We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your family's arrival.

Summary: Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Shell House, we stayed three nights in the house, the house was clean and well-kept, the pool was clean and add enjoyment for our special needs son, the location was great just minutes to the beach, We will be back.

Summary: We enjoyed our vacation very much. The pool area was comfortable and well kept. Upon our arrival, the pool water looked grayish and we initially attributed it to the overcast skies. However, the pool maintenance company apparently found the chemicals needed to be adjusted. This intervention cleared the water immediately. I recommend the property owner or manager change out and upgrade the electrical outlets. Plugs won’t stay in the outlets as they are so old and worn. There are no USB ports, except for one in the outdated CD player. Since most people use cell phones and have other electronic devices, USB and USB-C would be a great addition. It might also be helpful to include in the property description that climbing stairs to access everything is a necessity. This is important information for older people or those with physical limitations.

Summary: Very nice but neighbors both side were very swampy hence millions of mosquitos, made it difficult to enjoy the pool. Otherwise comfortable. Needs a golf cart available.

Summary: We loved our stay at this property. Everything was clean and in great condition when we arrived. We had 5 kids ranging from 10-12 years of age and the had a blast playing ping pong in the garage game room. The fish murals on the walls were my favorite- great for silly selfie backdrops. Also- the cabana and pool were a perfect place to wind down after a day at the beach!

Summary: Property is located in a beautiful area. House is older but clean. A recommendation to owner would be to leave some things stocked so out of town guest flying in don't have to spend a fortunate at the grocery store (paper and plastic products, more towels, etc). Electric needs updating but overall a great experience.
